Keuka Lake is an unusual member of the Finger Lakes because it is Y-shaped instead of long and narrow. Keuka (pronounced que-kuh) was referred to in the past as Crooked Lake and means “canoe landing” in Iroquois language. progress, making substantial donations of both land and money to the African American community, and funding

* Elizabeth Cady Stanton, strong advocate of the temperance and abolitionist movements, most notably the
